About College Outfitters

CollegeOutfitters.com was started by several undergraduates at the University of California, Davis in response to the limited selection and high prices of alternative college vendors. With the majority of college gear selected and sold by campus bookstores, CollegeOutfitters.com was created to find a better way to distribute quality products. First we wanted to provide students, staff, faculty, and alumni with a wider selection of items. Second, we want to make it less expensive for fans to wear their favorite team's color. In the Fall of 2000, we launched our first line of products for UC Davis and later in the Winter we plan to expand the line and begin providing products for other colleges.
